The Jessops: A Love Story combines text from my parents’ journals and letters with images that explore my family’s history.  My father was a professional photographer who died when I was three, and I am the youngest of three sisters. Much of what I know of early family life comes from studying my father's photographs, movies and ephemera. 

I designed an idealized version of the beautiful life my father photographed.  Relying on his colors, shapes and imagery, I made a highly graphic artist book about intimacy created from the distance of time.
